About Cuddlefish Cuts
Three artists making fun little artwork together.
Cuddlefish Cuts is an artist-owned shop founded by the three of us: Rori, Sadie, and Delaney. We make art, turn it into physical things with our own hands, and try to be really open about how all of it happens.
A little bit about our operation:
Made by Artists, by Hand, for You
Everything starts with artwork made by a real person. From there, we figure out how that design should become a physical item, make it ourselves, check it, photograph it, list it, pack it, and send it out.
We want you to know whose art you are buying, how the thing was made, and what went into it. When we work with other artists, we want that same care to follow their work too. Their art should be presented well, credited clearly, and turned into something we are comfortable putting the Cuddlefish Cuts name on.
Thoughtfully and Lovingly Made by Us
Right now, we make and finish every physical item we sell ourselves. Our linocut shirts and prints begin with artwork that is transferred to a linoleum block, carved by hand, inked, and printed one piece at a time.
Our stickers are designed by artists, printed in-house, laminated by hand, and cut by us. We choose the papers, blanks, inks, finishes, and other materials we use, then handle the finishing and quality checks before anything gets packed for an order.
Not every product uses the exact same process, and we do not want to pretend it does. What stays the same is that we are directly involved from the artwork through the finished item.
Designs by Real Artists
The art you see on Cuddlefish Cuts comes from real people and their own ideas, skills, and creative choices.
Every Design featured on Cuddlefish Cuts is made by a real artist. We do not use generative AI or AI-assisted art tools to create, alter, or finish the artwork we sell or feature. The ideas, drawing, carving, composition, and other creative decisions come from the artist themselves.
Full Transparency
We want to be open about how the things we sell actually get made. We will always make a thoughtful effort to share useful information about our materials, blanks, papers, inks, sticker stock, finishes, equipment, suppliers, and production methods.
If a shirt begins as a blank made by another company, we will say so. If we carve, print, laminate, cut, finish, or package something ourselves, we will say that too. We do not know every detail of every supply chain, and suppliers can change, but when we know something that matters, we would rather share it than dress the process up into something it is not.
The goal is not to bury every product page in manufacturing trivia. We just do not want anyone to have to guess what words like handmade, artist-made, or made by us actually mean here.
Artist Credits
Every Design should stay connected to the artist or artists who made it. Our Artist pages, Design pages, and product pages are built around that idea so credit is easy to find instead of being tucked away in tiny text.
Clear credit is part of the product, not an afterthought. We want it to be easy to meet the people behind the artwork and explore more of what they have made.
Care matters at every size.
Cuddlefish Cuts started as three artists making things together. Whatever comes next, we want the shop to stay personal, honest, and connected to the people who make the art.
That means human-made artwork, visible credit, thoughtful materials, clear descriptions, careful production, and products that still feel like somebody cared about making them.
